It contains technical information on classes with about 600 supplied photographs of many classes of locomotives and other railway vehicles in Europe. With one click you can mark vehicles as being seen and with another as hauled.

ERD holds information on diesel and electric locomotives, diesel and electric multiple units, departmental vehicles, museum stock including, working steam and includes coaching stock in the UK and Benelux with on-track plant in the UK. All diesel and electric locomotives ever operated by BR are included in the UK data set.

Vehicle running numbers, allocations, operators, livery codes and pool codes are available together with previous numbers carried by the vehicle where known. Depot information and technical details on classes is included together with the facility to associate your own photographs with depots, classes and even individual vehicles. For haulage enthusiasts the is the ability to record details of your trips in timetable form complete with a diary page to store information on your trip or sightings en route. Extensive hardcopy reporting is available and the stock listing reports can be in the form of “Locoshed Book” listings.
